I followed the recipe pretty exactly, only difference was that I only used Russet potatoes because I didn’t want to buy two whole things of potatoes. Also, make sure to have a sharp knife, the bacon is hard to cut. Also, the bacon grease you cook the shallots/garlic/green onions in is VERY HOT so be sure to WATCH THEM or else they WILL burn. I also didn’t have a chance (aka was too cheap) to buy Worcestire sauce. It still tasted delicious, and I imagine it would only taste even more delicious with the sauce.
It was delicious, I thought about it the second I woke up this morning. (yes, I love food, okay, most of my dreams have food in them, and sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and eat basically in my sleep, but thats…for another time)
