Digital Therapeutics

Isabel Barros has been working in the digital therapeutics space for a decade. She is committed to the development of psychologically supportive technology and facilitating dialogue around the safety and evolving intersection of consciousness and technology. She has contributed to the design of three therapeutic interventions to support wellness primarily using light and sound: MindfulnessVR to support individuals in drug treatment facilities, an attention bias modification intervention enhanced by high frequency binaural beats to support individuals with anxiety, and a dynamic sound experience designed to enhance exercise recovery. She earned her M.A. in Psychological Research from CSULB where she studied the relationship between attention and the cardiovascular system. Isabel is currently the CEO of a research services company, Is Be Wonders, Inc. She also earned her B.S. in Human & Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University and has researched mindfulness, intergenerational storytelling, and dreams at Stanford University, University of Southern California, and University of California, Santa Cruz.
